Like a lot of you guys, I am always on the hunt for products that help make my life (and kitchen) a little greener and cleaner. I shop at the Greenmarket as often as possible, I bring my own bags to the grocery store (and beyond!),  recycle everything that NYC allows us to, I even fill my freezer with compost and cart it to the farmer's market when I remember to, but I admit I am a regular plastic wrap user. It's something that I am definitely trying to cut back on, and thanks to my friends over at Mighty Nest and this awesome Bee's Wrap I am making strides.

Bee's Wrap is reusable food wrap made from organic cotton muslin, beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin—the combination of ingredients and the infused fabric create a malleable wrap that can be used again and again. The warmth of your hands (+ a little forming) naturally creates a seal and as the beeswax cools, the material stiffens and holds the seal intact. I used it to wrap up cheese and bread to take on a picnic (and store the leftovers) during last week's unseasonably warm weather, and it worked perfectly for both.

Another natural perk: beeswax and jojoba oil have antibacterial qualities that help to keep food fresh. Bee's Wrap is recommended for baked goods, cut fruits & vegetables, cheese, and covering leftovers.

For a low monthly subscription rate you can join up to make easy swaps to make your home a little greener.

If you are a new user of the MightyFix, you can sign up and get the medium and large Bee's Wrap pictured for only $3! The retail for the two wraps is normally $13.10 (+ 5.95 shipping) so it's a pretty incredible deal, and a low risk way to try out a product I know you will love. More details about the MightyFix below!
